Greetings to whoever has the time to read this journey of growth. I am Jonathan Lopez, a student in the Writing for Engineers class, a class focusing on getting students to not only write but think like an Engineer as well. Engineering is something of a passion for me from how much I can use it to what it can do for the world. This concept came to me in my Sophmore year of Highschool as that was the first time I took physics and also the first time I went to work in the construction business. Now I’m a freshman in City College, pursuing this passion for Engineering more rigorously and this starts with writing. Since writing is half the battle for any Engineer I will take my writing ability to the next level and meet the high standards. This portfolio will serve to showcase the growth of my writing abilities.
